At P.U.S.H., we are committed to ensuring that every expectant family has a reliable partner and support system. Pregnancy and childbirth are life-changing experiences where every stage matters, yet many families lack the fundamental information that could determine whether these experiences are healthy or result in adverse outcomes. This gap can have consequences that echo across generations. Access to vital resources, thorough preparation, wellness guidance, and the right obstetric care provider is important before, during, and after pregnancy. Our mission—regardless of socioeconomic status, ethnicity, or background—is to offer personalized care through our CHW support services and PUSH Birth Partners® doula support.
CHW Service
Our CHW service is the cornerstone of our commitment to supporting families throughout the perinatal period. CHWs are trusted, compassionate professionals who often live and work in the communities they serve, building authentic relationships and delivering community-responsive support to women and expectant families. By bridging the gap between families and healthcare systems, CHWs ensure that everyone receives the resources, information, and advocacy they need to achieve optimal health outcomes.
PUSH Birth Partners®
Our goal is to ensure that all families, irrespective of financial circumstances, have access to necessary care. Through our PUSH Birth Partners® Sponsored Services—subject to funding availability—we provide subsidized support for families encountering economic or social challenges, aiming to mitigate risks during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Families who are not eligible for sponsorship may obtain equivalent or more tailored support via our PUSH Birth Partners® Custom Services.
Pathways to PUSH®
Our Pathways to PUSH® program is designed to grow the CHW and perinatal care workforce by offering specialized certifications and continuous training. You can view the full list of courses by visiting our training platform.
